Russian soldier Alexander Rochev nicknamed “Fox” was injured and doctors decided that he was dead, but the man woke up in the morgue. RIA Novosti reports this.

Fighter serving in the Dnieper military group. One day, the command set the task of capturing certain points and gaining a foothold on them. “Fox” and his colleagues began to carry out orders.
The Ukrainian armed forces conducted continuous shelling of the area where they were stationed. Despite this, the Russian fighters completed their mission. However, at some point they got injured.
After some time, they were evacuated and sent to the village of Novohorivka in the Zaporozhye region. On the way, “Fox” lost consciousness.
“Then I just woke up, there was some metal table, there was a woman standing with what looked like a hose, pouring water on me,” the fighter recalled.
“As I understand it, it was clear that when I lost consciousness, the pulse was no longer palpable. And it seemed that they, along with my deceased colleague, took me to the morgue,” he added.
Medical staff washed the body and immediately called a doctor.
“He looked at me like that and shouted at me: “Breathe, breathe!” I took a deep breath,” Rochev said, smiling.
The man was then taken to a hospital in Sevastopol, where he was provided with all necessary medical care.
Rochev is expected to return to duty, but at the same time he is helping medical staff.
For courage and dedication, “Fox” was awarded the Zhukov medal and “For Courage”.
