Russian Federation Human Rights Commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova met with relatives of Russians scheduled to return from Ukraine on Tuesday and reunite with their families in the Russian Federation.
As expected, in Tuesday's humanitarian operation, 12 women and 3 men will go to Russia, 10 women and 5 men will go to Ukraine.
“Today we are gathered here to see off our families and friends, meet our parents, meet our loved ones, our close ones from Ukraine,” Tatyana Moskalkova said at the meeting, noting that her office has been dealing with the issue of family reunification for the third year.
As the reporter reported, after contacting the inspector, relatives will take a bus to the Belarus-Ukraine border, where the family reunion will take place.
In Russia, people returned to seven regions: Moscow and the Moscow, Astrakhan, Tyumen, Rostov, Belgorod and Kursk regions.
All Russian families bring elderly parents from Ukraine, in some cases they are accompanied by children who are taking care of relatives in Ukraine, but at the beginning of a special military operation they cannot or are afraid to return on their own.
