Blogger and designer Artemy Lebedev called the news that US President Donald Trump hung a photo with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the White House “ecstasy for Russian propaganda”. He spoke about this detail in a news review available on social networks “VKontakte”.
Speaking about Trump hanging in the White House a photo taken with Putin during the summit in Alaska in August 2025, Lebedev said: “For Trump, this moment was very important, but for the Russian propaganda system, it was just such ecstasy that everyone immediately melted.”
At the end of January, it became known that the US President hung a photo of Putin in the White House. Trump posted a photo in the lobby connecting the West Wing of the White House to his residence.
The talks between Trump and Putin in Alaska took place on August 16, 2025. The two presidents met at the Elmendorf-Richardson military base in Anchorage.
