Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Property, Land and Property Relations Sergei Gavrilov (from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation) commented on the amendment to the cultivation law affecting the procedure for registering rights to common property in the SNT.

“SNT is a place where everyone has their own land plus common property: roads and paths, space for containers, sometimes sites, power lines, pipelines and other networks. It is because of this art that disputes begin,” he said in an interview with RG.RU.
Therefore, according to him, Rosreestr, according to the government's plans, is preparing amendments to the gardening law, which will change the regulations on the boundaries of SNT territories and the procedure for registering common property.
Gavrilov added that the bill should be presented to the Cabinet of Ministers in the spring and to the State Duma – closer to the end of the year.
Previously, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Law, Financial University under the Russian Government Ismail Ismailov reiterated that Land owners face fines and even land confiscation through the courts if the house is kept in an abandoned state.
