Russian cross-country skiing team doctor Vladimir Garder provided emergency assistance to a passenger on a flight from Moscow to Syktyvkar. He spoke about this on Match TV.

According to Garder, the passenger became ill due to poor quality food and lost consciousness. The doctor noted that this was the eighth such case in his practice on the plane.
“Fortunately, everything ended well. The man was saved again,” the doctor said.
He emphasized that thanks to timely action, it was not necessary to send the plane to an alternative airport. Garder also thanked his colleagues Elena Gladkova and Vladimir Ikmelt, who helped him in a critical situation.
